Like Thame, Haddenham has featured in many Midsomer Murders episodes, and the Haddenham Village Society has now created an opportunity to peak behind the walls of its pretty chocolate box cottages and take a virtual tour of several gardens.
These virtual garden tours have been captured on video and uploaded to YouTube. This means they can be enjoyed by visitors from the comfort of their own homes without any social distancing issues to overcome!
In fact in these days of uncertain weather there appear to be advantages all round. No wellingtons. No insect bites. Little getting cold. And the facility to have a decent glass of bug free wine whilst to take in the beauty of the glorious gardens that Haddenham has to offer.

Some may not even need to get up from their sofa, in fact, as many smart TVs are now capable of showing YouTube videos. If you have this facility on your TV or streaming device, simply open the YouTube App and search for ‘Haddenham Village Society’
The project is all about raising funds, by voluntary donation, for the Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity.
In order to achieve the fundraising objectives of this project, we invite you to make a donation to the Hospice Charity, please.
The open gardens on Fête day would normally raise in the order of £500 and so the target is to exceed that figure for the virtual tours. Please give generously!
Your best way to make a donation is via the JustGiving page set up specifically for this. Florence Nightingale thank you in anticipation of your kind donation.
