The Next Step Project’s newest member of staff, Kaz, started a breakfast club last week. This will take place once a week and as well as teaching residents independent living skills, it also encourages healthy eating and a morning routine. This is just one example of the independent living skills our residents are developing whilst at Merryville House. It was the first time one of our residents had made an omelette – we don’t know who was more chuffed, the resident or Kaz who’d unearthed his inner Jamie Oliver!
