Sharing Life Trust, which administers the Thame Food Bank, has released details of the number of food parcels delivered in March. The 55 parcels, which represent a significant increase over February, have helped 82 adults and 68 children. The Trust said that the coronavirus outbreak has had a major impact on demand for the service, especially from people who have recently lost their jobs.
Donations to the Foodbank have kept up quite well but stocks are very low on the following items:
- Tinned rice pudding
1 litre cartons of UHT semi-skimmed and whole milk (green and blue)
500g and 1kg bags of granulated sugar
Tins of potatoes
Tinned vegetables
Tinned fruit
