The leader of South Oxfordshire District Council, Councillor Sue Cooper, has announced her intention to stand down as Leader of the Council. Mrs Cooper has been a district councillor for over 23 years and leader since May 2019. In a statement, Councillor Cooper said she had thought long and hard about her decision and believed that now was the time for a new leader to drive forward delivery for residents.
