With 43 years service under her belt, school crossing patroller, Christine Walker, has been recognised for her work with a British Empire Medal. Christine took over from her mother-in-law in 1978 and since then, she’s been helping school pupils and parents cross the road safely at West Wycombe Primary School. Christine was presented with her medal by the Lord Lieutenant of Buckinghamshire, the Countess Howe, at a ceremony at Penn House.
