Oxfordshire County Council and South Oxfordshire District Council have both signalled their intention to help re-settle and support those who are fleeing the rapidly escalating situation in Afghanistan. The County Council is working with district councils and partner organisations to find accommodation and empty housing stock suitable for re-housing families. Once the accommodation has been found, a package of support will be put in place, including healthcare, education and help with employment and community integration.
