An Oxford Tube bus driver has been praised for rescuing a dog which had escaped on to the M40 at Stokenchurch. Richard Pimm saw the dog on the outside lane of the motorway and, although he had 50 passengers on board, he stopped his bus on the hard shoulder to rescue the red fox Labrador. The dog was microchipped and was later re-united with its owners in Stokenchurch.
