Taxi drivers in Oxford have been protesting outside Oxford Town Hall about Uber’s new service in the city. Customers can use a mobile phone app to order cabs from a local firm. Uber bought its biggest rival Autocab, which operates an app for independent minicab operators throughout the country. The City Council have said their legal team are reviewing the arrangement.
