Oakfest, the 10hour long music festival in Oakley is set to go ahead this year with a date of Saturday 4th September.
Organiser Iola Seaton-Reid said last night that she was excited that they had been able to take the decision to go ahead this year, albeit on a different date, moving from June to September.
Having missed out last year, this is the 7th Oakfest since 2014 and the event has raised over £45,000 for Oakley School, Pre-School and St Mary’s Church.
This year’s line-up includes:
- Young Rocks
- Laura Williams
- Max Blansjaar
- The Vibe
- Public Service Announcement
- Transit
- The Band With No Name
As well as the fantastic music line-up, we mustn’t forget the Beer Festival, great food and plenty for the kids to do, including, once more, the popular children’s cinema that allows mums and dads the chance to let their hair down for a couple of hours knowing their youngsters will be safely entertained.
If you are interested in volunteering either this year, or in the future, please do not hesitate to email them to register at office@oakley.bucks.sch.uk
