The long-awaited extension of the 120 bus service will finally commence on Monday 10 May for residents in Cromwell Avenue and Towersey Drive.
The buses will make five or six journeys on a one-way circular loop on Mondays to Fridays. No new bus stops are being installed, as the sections around Towersey Drive and Cromwell Avenue are a ‘hail & ride’ service. It is an anti-clockwise route around Cromwell Avenue. Importantly, through-journeys to/from Haddenham station will be possible and a copy of the timetable is here:
Funding is in place for 18 months, so at least until the end of November 2022 and concessionary passes will be valid after 9.00am as usual and this new service will help to test demand for the possibility of a more extensive shuttle bus service in the future.
