As we make our cautious way out of lockdown, we reveal the changes taking place in England today
- The rule of six returns, along with new measures meaning two households (no more than six people) can meet outdoors, including in private gardens
- Football and cricket pitches, tennis and basketball courts, outdoor swimming pools, golf courses and sailing clubs are free to reopen
- Organised team sports can also resume outdoors
- The government will drop the stay-at-home message and will instead encourage people to stay local
- People will still have to work from home where possible and no overseas travel will be allowed, apart from a small list of exceptions
