Thames Valley Police are appealing for information in connection with a third laser attack on aircraft in Oxfordshire. The latest incident happened on Saturday afternoon when an RAF C17 was targeted on approach to Brize Norton. No injury was caused and the aircraft landed safely. A police spokesperson described the act of shining a laser at aircraft as highly reckless and the offence can carry a custodial sentence of up to 5 years. Anyone with information is asked to call 101 or Crimestoppers.
