The Kop Hill Challenge Organising Committee met online last Thursday, and decided to carry on planning for the 2020 event on September 19/20. The occasion will mark the 110th year since the first-ever climb in 1910. Some notable attractions have already agreed to being there over the weekend, including the evergreen favourites Haurel and Lardy and a flypast on both days of a Spitfire from the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight. New for 2020 however, will the opportunity to take a helicopter flight over the event to see everything from a bird’s eye perspective.
Hill-run entrants are filling up well, despite the prevailing circumstances. To apply for a run or to exhibit a vehicle, please go to www.kophillclimb.org.uk.
