Judge rules security cameras invade privacy of a neighbour

A judge has ruled that security cameras and a Ring doorbell installed at a house in Thame invaded the privacy of a neighbour. A number of disputes about the security devices led to the complainant moving out of their property. The judge said that the images and sound recordings captured by the devices breached UK data laws including GDPR. The neighbour, who owns the devices, now faces a substantial fine.
