Annette Luck

April 30, 2019

Annette Luck, "Annie", is our latest presenter and joins Steve Fox to present the Red Kite Breakfast. Originally from Watford, Annie currently lives in Princes Risborough
with her husband Gary and wonderful daughter Olivia.

Annie has an eclectic taste in music and a ready wit and is relishing her new found role on Red Kite Radio Eagle eyed – or Kite eyed listeners will probably recognize Annie from Haddenham where she works as the manageress of the Florence Nightingale Hospice Shop

Clive started DJing at the tender age of 15 when the local DJ failed to turn up for a show at the Loudwater Boys club back in 1979. He absolutely loved it and he was smitten!

Clive started a show called the CM Roadshow with his best friend Mike, then a few years later when Mike left to pursue a career as a musician Clive was joined by John and it became the CJ Roadshow. Fast forward another few years and he bought John out and the famous CR Roadshow was born.

That was back in 1991 and in 1992 Clive gave up the 9-5 lifestyle and went full time as a DJ hosting many parties, weddings, corporate functions and even some funerals. There is nothing Clive won’t turn his hand to.

In 1994 Clive joined the local, Wycombe Hospital Radio and was Chairman for over 25 years until the sad demise of the station. Clive’s radio career has taken many diverse turns and he has worked on many RSLs (restricted Service Licences), community stations and internet based radio stations alike. Clive has presented a whole host of differing shows including 60s, 70s, 80s & 90s, soul, funk, specialist shows, phone in, request and competition based shows and he even presented a youth upfront Dance show (for which he had a pseudonym and had to hide his age).

Clive still continues to wow audiences to this day and you will find him working his magic at large corporate events, a capable and fun compare for awards ceremonies and he has even been the track side compere/DJ at The London Triathlon. He is MC and Party Host for salubrious Weddings and he also runs his own 80s Party Fun Nights business around the south of England and beyond!

Here at Red Kite Radio, Clive is a regular presenter of his own Funk, Soul & Dance Show on Tuesday nights as well as sitting in for any absent presenters as and when he is needed.

If you would like to find out more about Clive and his vast diversity of entertaining options, please pop over to his website at: and take a look at his portfolio.

Don’t forget if you fancy a great night out, check out: and tell ‘em Clive sent ya!

On Saturday the Red Kite Radio team descended on the ASM Stadium, home of Thame United FC for the match against Aylesbury. Station director Chris Long, assisted by Saturday afternoon presenter Steve Fox, sports reporter Peter Dawes, Howard Bond, Melv Warner and Peter Gerhardi were on hand to witness a superb display of football by the lads in a 4:1 victory which keeps Thame United's hopes of a play-off alive.

Listeners were kept posted on progress in the match and there was also an interview with a member of the Under 14 squad who played their match before the main event. Our grateful thanks to Jake Collinge, Carl Catling and the staff at Thame United for their hospitality on what was also a special sponsors' day at the ground."

Peter Dawes

April 06, 2019

"Peter is a recent uni graduate, having studied Television and Radio at Birmingham City University. When not presenting he’s busy saving lives/cleaning in his role as a lifeguard at a nondescript leisure centre that I’m sure we’re not allowed to mention due to legal reasons...

A new addition to the team, he will be gaining some valuable experience with Red Kite Radio before making it big in the world of media (at least he hopes) …"
