A fallen tree on the A418 Oxford Road in Aylesbury by the junction with Ellen Road caused major disruption to traffic both in and out of the town yesterday. There were delays of up to 20 minutes from around 9.45 am and some buses were diverted around Fairford Leys. The blockage was cleared and the road was re-opened by 2pm.
