TRAINS between Bicester and London will be cancelled this weekend because of engineering.
All services between Marylebone and Birmingham – including those stopping in Oxfordshire – are off on both Saturday and Sunday.
This is because of engineering works in the Haddenham and Thame area which will close the line.
Chiltern Railways has warned that other journey times may be longer than usual and passengers may have to change trains or travel with other train operators to get to their destination.
It also warned that, as a result, a reduced timetable will operate on all Chiltern Railways routes.
Passengers travelling between Marylebone, Bicester Village, Oxford, Banbury and Birmingham should travel via Aylesbury Vale Parkway and get a rail replacement bus service to Bicester to continue their journey.
The work is part of ‘Britain’s Railway Upgrade Plan
