Crimestoppers are offering a £10,000 reward on top of Thames Valley Police’s reward of £20,000. The are asking for information leading to the arrest of the murderer of 51 year old Janet Brown in Radnage 25 years ago. No clear motive for the murder has been established. Mrs Brown worked as a research nurse at Oxford University Public Health and Primary Care Department and was murdered in her home on the evening of 10th April 1995.
Annabelle Goodenough, South East Regional Manager at the charity Crimestoppers, said: “Janet Brown is described by her family as being a peaceful lady who loved nature and travelling. Her life was cruelly cut short by this terrible crime 25 years ago. Our charity would like to see justice for Janet and her family and hope that after all these years, maybe loyalties have changed or someone who knows something now feels able to finally do the right thing and tell us what they know.”
