Malcolm Clout is 100 years old on the 29th of November but that didn’t stop him walking 11 miles over the last 11 days in aid of the Royal British Legion
A pilot in World War II, Malcolm says “Coronavirus and lockdown have prevented me doing my three favourite activities which are reading with all the wonderful children at Princes Risborough Primary School, playing Bridge and worshipping at St Mary’s Church, so I took on this challenge to give myself something positive to do. “
Mr Clout was joined on the final day of his walk by Risborough Mayor Mathew Walsh.
Supported by friends and local residents he finished his walk today on Wellington Avenue where he was given a rousing cheer by the onlookers.
Originally aiming to raise £5,000 for his cause, his JustGiving page is already passed £9800 and with your help we would like it to reach £11,000.
