Buckinghamshire Council have adopted the Vale Of Aylesbury Local Plan at a full cabinet meeting on Wednesday. The Plan sets out the blueprint for planning in the Vale for the next 12 years. Included in the Plan is provision for up to 30,000 new homes, mostly concentrated around Aylesbury, with other sites in Buckingham, Winslow, Haddenham and adjacent to Milton Keynes. A spokesperson for the Council said the Plan had gone through a rigorous public consultation over a number of years.
