POLICE were called to an ‘altercation’ at a special needs school in Aylesbury this morning.
Officers arrived at Booker Park School, in Stoke Leys close, at around 9 am, with reports of a ‘lockdown’ emerging soon after.
Emails were sent to parents informing them of the police presence.
The email said:
“All children are safe and no child was involved, although a very small number of children may have witnessed the event.
“Children may be aware of the police presence on site.”
Now Buckinghamshire Council has clarified what happened this morning.
A spokesperson said: “Thames Valley Police was called to Booker Park School, in Stoke Leys Close, in Aylesbury, at around 9.10am today (24/9).
Officers attended the scene, where it was reported that an altercation had taken place.”
