Aylesbury Town Council have announced the line-up performing at this year’s Live in the Park on Saturday 27 August.
The ever-popular live music event, which takes place in Aylesbury’s Vale Park, is set to host a full day of local bands and artists performing across two stages. Last year, the jam-packed event attracted around 14,000 people.
The Town Council have announced ZARAK – a local upbeat rock band – as this year’s Live in the Park headline act.
ZARAK promise a set to remember with original songs and plenty of covers for punters to sing-along to.
Other confirmed acts are Just Can’t Get Enough, Lily Rea, Raj De, Chloe Green, Damo & the Dynamites, Bitterroot, Clark Rainbow, Next Stage Choir, Heidi Browne, LJ Phoenix, Lex Gibbon, TBaze, Codename Colin and The Band With No Name.
The free full day festival will also host a Kids Entertainment Area, fantastic food caterers, great local market stalls and a Community Involvement Area. New for this year will be a fantastic Battle of the Bands hosted by XYZ Music, all the details to be announced soon.
The Mayor of Aylesbury, Cllr Anders Christensen, said: “After the success of last year’s event, I hope residents will be able to join us with their friends and family to celebrate and support local live music. We have a fantastic line-up so make sure you put the date in your diary.
“Live in the Park is part of Parklife Weekend which hosts a range of exciting and free events. More information about these events will be announced in the coming months.”
